Chris Nagao is a Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. He is a member of the team responsible for the management of the taxable fixed income Schwab Funds.

Previously, he served as a portfolio manager and an associate portfolio manager for tax-exempt fixed income Schwab Funds and tax-exempt Schwab Money Funds from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that role, Mr. Nagao worked as a senior applications engineer supporting Schwab Asset Management’s portfolio management team by building analytical tools to assist in managing the funds. Before joining Schwab Asset Management in 2007, he was a lead software developer for Global Real Analytics.

Mr. Nagao earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Pacific.
