Kasey McCurdy is a Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. He is a member of the team responsible for the management of the Schwab Taxable Bond Mutual Funds and Schwab Fixed-Income ETFs.

Prior to joining Schwab Asset Management in 2020, Mr. McCurdy was a portfolio manager for Schwab Managed Portfolios^™ with Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. (CSIA), focused on the fixed income allocation for a multi-asset offer. Before this role, he was a fixed income research analyst in CSIA where he researched and monitored taxable and tax-exempt fixed income mutual funds for the Schwab recommendable lists. Prior to CSIA, Mr. McCurdy spent time as an investment consultant and a registered representative within Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.    

Mr. McCurdy earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in commerce, organizations, and entrepreneurship from Brown University. He is a CFA^® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Colorado.
