Shanna Weber is Vice President of Asset Management Strategy and Employee Development supporting Schwab Asset Management Solutions. In this role, Ms. Weber leads the overarching business strategy of the asset management platforms, including proprietary products, broker-dealer product platform offerings, product distribution, and research functions. Ms. Weber also leads employee development for the asset management group, supporting employee training, diversity and inclusion programs, and overall employee engagement.
 
Prior to this role, Ms. Weber was Head of Strategy and Product Development for Schwab’s proprietary mutual funds and ETFs and the Charles Schwab Trust Bank collective investment trusts. She also spent time as a managing director supporting product strategy and development for CSIM. Before joining Schwab in 2015, Ms. Weber was at Janus Capital Group (now Janus Henderson Investors), most recently as the assistant vice president of U.S. product strategy and development, where she was responsible for product and strategy development, customization and pricing for domestic mutual funds, variable annuities, and institutional products. Prior to joining Janus in 2008, she served as a project manager and fund specialist with ING Funds, LLC (now Voya Investment Management), managing sub-adviser relationships and new fund launches. Ms. Weber started her career in 2000 with Arthur Andersen.
 
Ms. Weber earned an executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona Eller College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance and management from Arizona State University. She holds the Certified Fund Specialist designation and the Series 7 license.
