Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz, CFP^®, is a member of the Charles Schwab Corporation Board. She joined the Schwab Board in October 2022 and serves on the Board's Risk Committee.

Schwab-Pomerantz retired from her role as managing director at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and as chair of the Charles Schwab Foundation and DAFgiving360^TM boards in June 2023 in order to focus on her Corporate Board position and is no longer an employee of Schwab.

She is a renowned advocate for financial literacy and a personal finance expert. She is also an author, best known for her Ask Carrie column, which she wrote for 19 years prior to her departure from Schwab. While Carrie no longer publishes new content on Schwab.com, many of her past columns remain relevant and timely today and continue to appear on this site. Schwab is also publishing new personal finance content via a bi-weekly column called Money Talk, authored by a rotating group of certified financial experts to help readers move their financial lives forward.
