Emily is a member of SCFR’s investment manager research team that examines passive investment strategies. Emily frequently writes educational articles for Schwab clients that address timely topics related to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and index mutual funds. She is also responsible for the research and analysis required for Schwab's lists, including the ETF Select List.^®

Prior to joining Schwab in 2011, Emily was a senior investment analyst for a private equity fund. She holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Wyoming and a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from the University of Wyoming. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
