Lise-Lotte Smith is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Research for Schwab Asset Management. Ms. Smith leads a team of credit research analysts who support Schwab’s fixed income products, including money market funds, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and ETFs.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Smith was head of corporate research where she was responsible for credit and investment research for asset-backed commercial paper programs (ABCP), Nordic banks, and U.S. insurance companies. Before joining Schwab in 2015, she was a vice president at BlackRock and was a part of the risk and quantitative analysis group for fixed income, responsible for asset-backed securities credit and investment risk analysis. At Barclays Global Investors, before merging with BlackRock in 2009, she was a credit analyst in the global cash management credit group. Prior to joining Barclays Global Investors in 2005, Ms. Smith was a research associate at Banc One Capital Markets.

Ms. Smith earned a Master of Science in business administration from Jönköping International Business School in Sweden.
