Gabriel Schofield is a Managing Director and Divisional Chief Information Officer – Wealth & Asset Management supporting Schwab Asset Management® , Schwab Center for Financial Research, and Schwab Wealth Advisory™. Mr. Schofield is responsible for technology strategy, application design and development, third-party product integration, and production management of the technology platforms supporting these business enterprises within the corporation. 

Prior to joining Schwab in 2016, Mr. Schofield spent six years at Symphony Asset Management (a TIAA company and subsidiary of Nuveen) in multiple senior technology roles. Prior to this, Mr. Schofield spent ten years at Rosenberg Equities (a subsidiary of AXA Investment Managers) where he held several senior business and technology leadership roles. 

Mr. Schofield earned a Master of Science in information systems from Northwestern University as well as a Master of Business Administration from Durham University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in war studies from King’s College, University of London. He is a CFA® charterholder.
